Hi Guys
I would like to install Itunes, so would I be correct in assuming that I have to do that with Wine and I have to Install the 32 bit version, even though I'm running a 64 bit processor?
Please could someone give me a link to the Itunes version I need.
I'm not exactly sure what to do, as I am new to Linux, so if anyone wants to talk me through it, that would be appreciated.
I've already got an Itunes account, which I've been using on Windows, so presumably I will just need my username and password?

Hello Linuxquestions and the many contributors:
I have reviewed previous posts on the Linux/iTunes conflicts, and, thanks to the many helpful posts on the subject, have decided to revise my plans for rescuscitation of an IBM G40 Laptop (pre-Lenovo, but amazingly still supported by Lenovo), and I will leave an unprotected Windows XP os on the G40, install iTunes including my complete 12-year accumulation of music and podcasts and selected videos, using the G40 as a server on a residence-wide wifi. Not an easy task, but workable and a challenge for retirees, right?
But I have recently become interested in Raspberry Pi and all its ramifications, including the necessity to learn Linux as a means of working around the Microsoft/Apple prohibitions.
I am presently experimenting with 'Kodi' and 'OSMC' media programs on Linux Raspian- versions on Raspi Model B Pi2's. These both allow importation of music libraries into their respective media players. If successful, the iTunes library will be transferred to a WD Passport to replace the IBM G40.
The major benefit of all this monkeying around will be learning Linux coding and a return to life on the command line.
